To resolve the farm’s connectivity issues, we installed and integrated a Starlink kit to provide fast, stable broadband. We then built a Ubiquiti based network across the entire site by running CST‑armoured fibre between key buildings and ultra‑lightweight fibre at high level where appropriate. Each building received a new network rack and Ubiquiti UniFi switches, creating a fully managed and seamless network.
WiFi coverage was significantly improved using a combination of external Ubiquiti UniFi access points for outdoor areas and internal Ubiquiti UniFi access points for strong indoor coverage. The nearby farm cottage was securely connected via an armoured Cat6 cable and fitted with its own router.
For security and safety monitoring, we installed a complete Hikvision CCTV system, including a central NVR and high‑quality cameras positioned at all entrances and high‑traffic zones.
The farm now benefits from fast and reliable Starlink internet, a robust fibre network connecting multiple buildings, and full Wi-Fi coverage across indoor and outdoor working areas. The cottage is securely linked to the main network, and the Hikvision CCTV system provides dependable monitoring of all key locations.
Overall, the site now has a modern, secure and scalable infrastructure designed to support daily operations, safety, and long‑term growth.
